At Mzima Beach, we strive to provide extraordinary guest experiences, even in these difficult times. The wellbeing of our guests, visitors, and the Mzima team is our main priority, so you can feel safe from check-in to check-out.
We have taken precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all guests, visitors and staff, based on guidelines set by health authorities.
FACE MASK OR FACE SHIELD – required when entering Mzima, and when moving around public areas.
SOCIAL DISTANCING – we keep a safe distance between guests and the team.
LIMITED NUMBER OF PERSONS – we follow the restrictions and guidelines on limitations of numbers of people as determined by local health authorities.
TRAINED AND PREPARED TEAMS – all Mzima team members are trained in hygiene protocols that prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
SANITISING – the Mzima team wash and sanitize hands after every encounter, and will be wearing face masks or face shields at all times, with their usual big smiles underneath. Staff are required to stay home if feeling unwell.
CLEAN SURFACES – we clean and disinfect surfaces frequently throughout the day with special attention to high-touch areas.
CLEAN HANDS – we have set up stations in public areas with alcohol-based hand sanitizers and sprays for use by guests and visitors. Please do use them regularly.
STAY ALERT – we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and follow the recommendations of our local health authorities.
TO ARRIVING GUESTS:
We know everything is in flux and maybe a bit confusing. So, when arriving at Mzima Beach, we will inform you of the safety procedures, and guidelines to follow.
You can check-in and out without any hassle. The Mzima team will do all the work for you. Just arrive ready to settle in.
We offer cash-free methods of payments for extras in all areas.
If you show any signs of COVID-19 infection, please do not enter the hotel or, if within, do notify staff immediately. We will swiftly help direct you to a doctor in the local area to get support.
All room keys are disinfected after each touch, as are door handles, windows and all surfaces.
We have stepped up the daily cleaning protocols. We use disinfectant detergents and make sure to pay extra attention to high-touch items and areas.
WINE & DINE:
We serve you with greatest care. Meals and drinks will be served either at your residence – poolside, in-house or on the terrace (where applicable) or if requested they will be served beachfront.
FITNESS – Our fitness team will work to meet your fitness requirements with open air activities. We can provide basic fitness equipment to you at your residence if required.
